Made in Bristol
We will be celebrating our 30th birthday on 7th June by showcasing some of the extraordinary creativity that comes out of Bristol, screening 30 hours of creative work Made in Bristol. And to show how much great television continues to be Made In Bristol, the city has this year been nominated for a whopping 14 BAFTA Awards!
Hollywood beckons for DepicT! '11 Winner
DepicT! proves it's a genuine springboard to success with the news that previous winner Tim Bassford has won the top prize in The Pitch: a £25,000 budget for a short film and a trip to Hollywood to meet industry professionals.

PUSH ME, a collaboration led by Watershed, is one of the 53 digital arts projects commissioned by Arts Council England and BBC for The Space.
Electric December Award Winners!
On Thu 1 Dec over 100 people came together at Watershed to celebrate the launch of Electric December 2011, Watershed's original online countdown calendar of brilliant short films from young European filmmakers, and find out who scooped some of the prestigious Electric December Awards.

Following a fantastic buzz at the DepicT! Showcase in the afternoon, filmmakers and guests gathered on the evening of Sat 19 Nov for the 17th Bristol Encounters International Film Festival Awards Ceremony hosted by Peter Carlton to learn who'd scooped this year's DepicT! competition prizes.
DepicT! '11 Shortlist Now Live!

Bristol Filmmakers Win First Light Award
We are delighted that some of our young filmmakers who produced a five-minute docu-drama 'The Box' have won a First Light Award at a glitzy ceremony at the Odeon Leicester Square.
