90 Second Film Challenge

A collection of films made for the 90 Second Film Challenge, a fun film challenge that encouraged businesses in Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise zone to get creative and make a 90 second short film.

Watershed has always been a proponent of the fact that anyone can make a film, and has long used the short film format to encourage people to get involved and give filmmaking a try.

The 90 Second Film Challenge was a fun film challenge that encouraged businesses in Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise zone to get creative and make a 90 second short film. A collection films were made, which capture the creative enterprising spirit of the area.

The project was funded by Bristol City Council and produced by Watershed, and brought together businesses with young filmmaking talent to produce a short film that would be screened at Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival 2012.

This collection contains all six films, whose themes explore everything from Bristol’s wealth of circus talent, the emerging food culture of the area, to the incredible wildlife films made in the city.

Watershed worked with Bristol City Council to engage businesses, residents, and people travelling through Bristol Temple Quarter and the surrounding neighbourhoods in projects that deliver creative digital representation of the area.
