The Creative Technology Network focuses on networking and collaboration across computing, communications and the creative industries. From broadcasting, games and animation to design, visualisation and mobile media, the Network brings together individuals and organisations to share good practice, news and ideas.
With a year-round programme of events, workshops and showcases CTN seeks to establish an active community from across academia, industry and the arts to support innovation and enhance research - if you are interested in these ideas and this way of working then you can join the network.
The CTN is both a network and an online resource, providing cross-sector news and a member’s directory. Members can upload stories, ideas and content to the site to enable networking and knowledge transfer.
CTN events are interactive sessions which explore current trends and emerging technologies such as robotics, the future of broadband access, and the emotional design of buildings. The events aim to engage, and encourage creative thinking, future gazing, and networking.
The CTN regularly hosts events at Watershed and across Bristol which are open to all.
