UK Council's A Filmmakers Journey.
Award winning writer/director Esther May Campbell developed her career and distinct directorial voice through a number of successful short films including Delilah, Charley Harry's Wondrous Nothing and two shorts, Poppy and September, which were funded by the UK Film Council's Digital Shorts and Digital Shorts Plus schemes respectively, in partnership with South West Screen.
In this film, Campbell discusses her experiences as an emerging filmmaker with Mark Cosgrove, Encounters Festival's Creative Director.
Esther My Cambell has directed episodes for number of high-profile television programmes, including Doctors, Wallander, and the Bristol-based teen hit, Skins.
