Bristol Stories from the Railways

A collection of films focusing on Bristol's railways which were created for Bristol Stories, Watershed's creative digital storytelling project.

At the heart of Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone is Bristol Temple Meads, the main railway station in the city and one of the most important transport hubs in the area.

To celebrate Bristol's locomotive heritage, a collection of films focusing on Bristol's railways were created for Bristol Stories, Watershed's creative digital storytelling project.

As part of this project Watershed worked with Knowle West Media Centre to deliver digital storytelling workshops with a group of ex-railway workers and their families, who had lived and worked on the railways in Bristol.

This project was funded by Bristol City Council and delivered by Watershed and Knowle West Media Centre in collaboration with bigger house film.
