Ken Loach Q&A

In 2016 British director Ken Loach celebrated his 80th birthday, released his 50th major work (Cannes Palme D'Or winner – I, Daniel Blake), and commemorated the 50th anniversary of his landmark TV drama Cathy Come Home.

He is now the subject of a documentary himself Versus: The Life and Films of Ken Loach – a funny, provocative and revealing account of his life and career, looking back at over 50 years of directing and filmmaking.

Following a screening of the documentary at Watershed in June 2016, Ken Loach took questions from the audience on filmmaking, politics, censorship, his influences and his extraordinary body of work.
