Senna - Q&A

Senna is an award-winning feature-length documentary film by director Asif Kapadia, based on the life and death of Brazilian Formula One world champion, Ayrton Senna da Silva. The film won Best Documentary Award at this 2011’s Sundance Film Festival, and received wide critical acclaim for it’s narrative construction from thousands of hours of archived television footage. Many of the reviews praised the film for it’s gripping, emotionally engaging story, and commented on the film’s ability to engage audiences who were not necessarily interested in motor racing.
