What would your response be to seeing a wheelchair plunge into the sea? A sharp intake of breath? Shock? Concern?

The audience here have gathered instead to cheer and wave – celebrating Sue Austin’s Unlimited Commission ‘Creating the Spectacle!’ Sue’s underwater wheelchair enables her to challenge preconceptions about the wheelchair and the way it is viewed, creating footage that will result in a three screen projected installation at the Royal Festival Hall this September.

As Sue says, it almost seems unbelievable. Believe it. Take the plunge with Sue Austin for 90 seconds.

Push Me Collection: The Journey is the next set of the 90 second films following 12 Push Me artists on their journey to the 2012 Cultural Olympiad and the Unlimited Festival.

See how her story began with Push Me for 90 Seconds, in the first Push Me Collection.
