Web Explorations is an online learning resource designed for UK students of GCSE, AS and A2 qualifications and their teachers. The site enables students to research and critically assess web resources and their use. It includes practical exercises and the opportunity to take part in online discussions where students can share their findings and experiences with other users.

Web Explorations aims to:

  • promote the use of the web in schools and colleges
  • encourage critical approaches to resources available on the web

    The outcome of the activities here can be used to provide evidence for Assessment Objectives for the following courses:
    Media Studies
    Film Studies
    Citizenship
    IT Key Skills
