About Ruby Walker

Ruby graduated in 2014 from the University of the West of England where she studied Photography. Ruby went on to fulfill the role as Student Learning Support assistant in the photography department at UWE where she improved upon her marketing and production skills. As a student Ruby was heavily involved in the production of the degree show, and it was then that she realised her potential within production. With a keen and passionate interest in all things creative, Ruby found a love for curation and events, and wishes to push forward with this new path in her portfolio career, starting with the Future Producers. Currently Ruby works as a freelance photographer and part time marketing and communications officer for a local community group based in Easton. Her personal projects are studies of the interesting characters around her, from Joyce; the ice skating 84 year old to 'Living with M.E; an invisible illness. And more recently a study of the relationship between mothers & daughters; often turbulent and rarely easy.
