A residency programme enabling South West based artists to research, produce and present projects at the intersection of art, technology and culture.

Hosted at Pervasive Media Studio, this programme supports practitioners’ seeking time and space to research innovative ideas, make new connections and develop experimental works within a collaborative environment.

Since Watershed opened its doors in 1982, support of artists and development of artistic practice has always been central to its aims.

The Clark Bursary scheme, which ran for 10 years from 1998 - 2007, played a major part in developing Watershed as a producer of experimental, digital work. Artists supported through the Clark Bursary included, amongst others, Mongrel, Simon Poulter, Joe Magee, Luke Jerram, Stanza and Duncan Speakman.

iShed’s current Artists Residencies programme builds on this success.
