Fancy yourself as a prince (or princess) of darkness? Like screaming guitars, blinding pyrotechnics and blown-out eardrums?

In 2006, Watershed invited you to stop practicing your air guitar in the mirror, take your headbanging out of the sweaty mosh pit and to show off these crucial life skills to the world in Watershed's very own competition, open to die hard metal fans and non-believers alike. The competition of all competitions was held in honour of Watershed screening the film Metal: A Headbanger's Journey - an intimate tribute to the dark side of rock - from Friday 23 June, 2006.

Every clip (that has been deemed suitable - no nakedness or bat-eating) was entered into an online battle so that an adoring public could vote for their favourite video.
