Phill Jupitus Hosts an Encounters Festival Tribute to Bagpuss and Friends
Phill, Bagpuss and Friends: Watershed, Sun 27 July 1530hrs
Author, broadcaster and comedian Phill Jupitus will be at Watershed on Sun 27 July to host Phill, Bagpuss and Friends, an Encounters Short Film Festival tribute to a hero of British animation - Oliver Postgate - and his best-loved characters, including Bagpuss, The Clangers, The Pogles and Noggin The Nog.

During the event, Phill Jupitus will be joined on stage by Smallfilms’ archivist and publisher, Loaf, and by Barry Purves, whose own award-winning stop-motion work includes animations for Aardman and Cosgrove Hall and features on films including Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks!
