The Artist: Our Most Successful Film Ever!
Over 13,000 of you have been to see it here at Watershed, making Michel Hazanavicius' multiple award-winner our most successful film ever (we're thirty years young in June with some 7500 films under our belt, so it's certainly no mean feat). Why has it been so popular?
Bristol is a 'Playable City'
We are delighted that the British Council and Watershed are bringing together ten leading artists from across East Asia and the UK for a five-day sprint at Bristol’s Pervasive Media Studio around the theme of the playable city.

Our Exec Chef Oliver Pratt is always on the look out for locally sourced products and his latest addition to Watershed’s Plot to Plate family can be found behind the bar from this week. The tasty new brews come from the independent Cotswold Brewery.
The Night of The Hunter
This Saturday (11 Feb) at 13:00 we'll be screening The Night Of The Hunter, one of cinema's bonafide masterworks. Introducing the film on the day will be film historian and Tweeter par excellence @iambags (otherwise known as Jonathan Bygraves), who has written a piece about the film's enduring relevance.
