New kitchen and new menus – Happy New Year!

We are very excited to announce that our brand new, environmentally friendly and efficient kitchen is ready! After six weeks of behind the scenes toil - and plenty of patience from you, our lovely customers - our kitchen refit is complete and ready for action.

Our team of chefs have created brand new menus – a lunchtime selection which includes Welsh Rarebit and Shakshuka and an evening menu that includes firm Watershed favourites such as Burgers and Fish and Chips - as well as some new dishes like Braised Pig Cheeks with basil polenta and mushroom ragout, Salt Fish Fritters and a Catch of the Day. Other delicious new dishes making their debut across the new menus include Rainbow Carrot and Herb Tempura, Three Beetroot Salad and Cornish Seafood Chowder. Nachos have been given a Watershed makeover and are now baked and spiced in-house. Keep an eye on the Specials board which will be updated daily. Our breakfast menu will now include Bubble ‘n’ Squeak and Buttermilk Pancakes make a welcome appearance every weekend.

There are plenty of opportunities to try our tempting new menus during January with some special offers on selected days:

On Fri 15 Jan you can get a whopping 30% off all our menus! Then, try a burger and chips (veggie option available) plus pint of Pilsner Urquell for just £10.00 on Wed 20 and Wed 27 Jan (from 17:00) - and on Thu 21 and 28 Jan enjoy Watershed Fish and Chips with a glass of house white from local merchants Stewart Wines for just £11.50.

Our very popular regular Cinébites offer starts up again on Tue 19 Jan, when customers with a cinema tickets can enjoy 30% off main meals.

The breakfast menus are available from 9.30 to 11.30, the lunchtime menu is from 12.00 noon until 16.30 and the evening menu is from 17.00 until 21.30.

‘I’m thrilled to confirm that our sparkling new kitchen is ready to go, I’d like to thank our customers for their patience over the last few weeks whilst building work was underway.

Our new kitchen has allowed our chefs to create a wider range of tasty dishes, offering great value lunchtime and daytime dishes.

Thanks to Arts Council England we’ve been able to refit our kitchen and catering spaces with state of the art, efficient, low energy use equipment as part of our on-going efforts to ensure we create a sustainable organisation.’
