Been a while since I posted here but it's because things have been falling into place all at once.

Tom and I have been esconced in the meeting room at Pervasive Media Studio and have finally emerged with the skeleton of a story. We have identified the key action points and have also alloted those action points what we feel at the moment are the right modes of delivering them - either by music, technology or live action.

We have then left each other for a week - for me to start to put dialogue into the scenes where we know we need live performance and for the film elements we want to use, and for Tom to go away and start to explore what the technology might look like.

A couple of weeks ago we delivered our mid-way presentation and were pleased to realise that other people were quite excited by what we are trying to do, though a wiser technological head than mine warned me that maybe the technology might not be able to deliver everything I want it to. But I am ready for that.

I have also found some wonderful influences that fit the piece from the paintings of the German Expressionist artist, Otto Dix, to walking into the Open Studio event at Spike Island and finding a sculptor who has made a Stick House that would be a marvellous jumping off point for design.

Next week onto working with some critical friends on testing the narrative, exploring sleight of hand and playing with how our world might look visually.

Suddenly it feels possible...
