On Sunday 24 February you might have been sat at home in your pyjamas watching from afar the glitz and glamour of the Oscars, then again, you might have been Verity who donned her posh frock and was right here in Bristol honouring the very best of our talent at the Royal Television Society Awards held at the beautiful Bristol Old Vic.

Sunday night saw great success for the Pervasive Media Studio with two of our current residents in contention for awards. Flying the flag for second screen, multi-screen, interactive, online and connected TV content, resident game developers Opposable Games were nominated in the Best Companion Content category for their connected screens game, Clockwork Racers. Meanwhile, residents danceroom Spectroscopy and Guerilla Dance Project scooped the award for Best Digital Innovation, recognising outstanding innovations in digital content across any platform or combination of platforms, for their hugely successful dance show Hidden Fields.

The full list of winners in available on the RTS website and photos from the evening will be available soon. In the meantime, I’m sure you’ll all join us in congratulating both on their fantastic achievement.
