How do we interact with technology? What is our relationship with light? How do we navigate space?

Light Choreographies invites you to engage with these questions. Within the 'White Box' you will be able to interact with a responsive light projecting robotic installation. Through the play of sensors, your movements will communicate with technologies. A dance of light, robot and human.

Traditional processes harmonise with technological systems as you navigate the installation. Hand blown glass forms a lens, animating and illuminating the conversation between human, robot and light.

This presentation of Light Choreographies marks a significant milestone in a feasibility research study supported by the Technology Strategy Board at Innovate UK. Alongside exhibitions, iterations of the work have previously been shown within Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber for Cadw and an interactive audio visual dance performance.

Light Choreographies has been created, developed and produced by Angela Davies.
