Jonathan Chomko is an artist and designer working with technology and co-founder of physical and digital design studio, Chomko & Rosier.

Born in Toronto, Canada, he holds a BsC in Interaction Design from the University of Malmo, Sweden. Chomko’s primary focus is the design of compelling physical and kinetic interactive experiences.

He has worked with CSTEP, an inter-disciplinary research organization based in Bangalore, India, guest-lectured at Norges Kreative Fagskole in Oslo, Norway, and collaborated with artists, designers and dancers to create interactive experiences and installations. In 2013 he received a year-long research fellowship at Fabrica, in Treviso, Italy.

In 2014, together with Matthew Rosier, he won the Playable City award, creating Shadowing. His work has been shown at the Sydney Opera House, Nuit Blanche Montreal, the Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome, and the London Design Museum.

In 2015, he founded Chomko & Rosier with Matthew Rosier, focusing on embedded, non-screen-based interactive projects.
