Wyldwood Arts specialises in intergenerational work and arts with older adults. We produce high quality, participatory programmes across the South West with individuals from 0 – 100 years. We believe every person, regardless of their age, physical and mental ability should be able to experience high quality, professional arts. Our activities and projects offer a voice to those who may not otherwise have a voice - empowering participants through creativity.

We have worked with over 200 beneficiaries in our first two years of delivery through a range of art forms – dance, theatre, digital media and visual arts.  We work in various settings - care homes and community housing, educational establishments, libraries, community venues and traditional performance spaces. Our projects are delivered in Bristol, North Somerset, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Collaboration is fundamental to all of our work.

We work with a variety of partners (arts, statutory, private and voluntary), cross sector workers and organisations to produce our projects which have included large-scale events, workshops and performances. Most recently, we partnered Bristol Old Vic's Made in Bristol group to produce an intergenerational performance, based on stories and memories of being '17'.

At the Studio, Wyldwood Arts will be using local community assets to offer a platform for older people’s stories and memories. We want to use creative technology to engage communities and unify them through storytelling. Addressing the issues of social isolation and loneliness whilst exploring the juxtaposition between solitude and connectivity.

In 2016, we were finalists in the Third Sector Care Awards for our work with St Monica Trust on our Chat Back programme.

Wyldwood Arts were the Producer on Doing Things Differently, an equality and diversity event for Bristol, working with with Diverse City and Bristol City Council in September 2016.

Wyldwood Arts is currently the arts partner for Cardboard Citizens' Bristol residency - working with third sector organisations and practitioners to bring forum theatre to Bristol, encouraging theatre as a vehicle for social change.
