In the company of a precocious newborn humpback whale calf and his enormous 40 ton mother, we are taken on a very personal journey of discovery. A five-year labour of love shot in high definition on location in French Polynesia, Hawaii, Alaska, Newfoundland, the Bay of Fundy and the Gulf of Maine, the resulting film is as eloquently beautiful as it is luminously detailed.
