Wildscreenings: Rare Chicken Rescue (PG)

Following a long battle with depression, rare chicken breeder Mark Tully from Queensland, Australia is on a mission. Mark feels he owes his sanity and even his existence to his birds. He says: “Without you they don’t get fed; without you they don’t get watered – and without them I wouldn’t be coming out of the house.” Now he wants to repay the debt. Mark’s about to begin an epic journey, a “chicken chase”, to find and help preserve rare breeds of poultry before they are lost forever. His search takes him through five Australian states and more than 10,000 kilometres as he tracks down rare heritage breeds and meets others who share his passion.

All Wildscreenings are free; Subject to availability tickets can be collected from Box Office on the day of the screening. You can call Box Office on (0117) 927 5100, and reserve tickets but you must collect them on the day an hour before the start time of the screening.
