Wildscreenings: Lobo (PG)
49 mins
Please note: this is an old screening, first shown in Oct 2008
In the Autumn of 1893 a man called Ernest Thompson Seton rode into New Mexico on a mission: to kill a marauding, cattle-killing wolf nick-named Lobo. What happened next would change both of their lives and, in the end, change forever the way Americans saw their wilderness. Set against the dramatic backdrop of north-eastern New Mexico where the original events took place, actors, tame wolves and present-day wolf biologists help tell the story of the developing relationship between Seton and Lobo and the repercussions of their fateful meeting.

Filmic
A festival of film and music
We're mad about music and film. So much so we've created a new festival dedicated to this most enduring of relationships, and this month there's a focus on the music of the maestro Ennio Morricone.

Showing Now
Roman Polanski's latest is a hysterically funny descent into some very, very enjoyable bad behaviour as two sets of parents try (and fail) to talk through an incident amicably.
