Wildscreenings: Christmas in Yellowstone (Award Winner) (PG)
57 mins
Please note: this is an old screening, first shown in Oct 2008
As Christmas lights glow in Jackson Hole, Wyoming a holiday season of a different sort settles in just beyond the town, in the winter wonderland of Yellowstone National Park. Breathtaking landscape frame intimate scenes of wolves and coyotes, elk and bison, bears and otters, as they make their way through their most challenging season of the year. We journey in the footsteps of John Colter, the man who first explored the park nearly tow hundred years ago and travel with his modern counterpart, photographer and author, Tom Murphy on his own journey of discovery. From the crystals of individual snowflakes to the grand sweep of Yellowstone’s Hayden Valley, this is a Christmas like no other.
All Wildscreenings are free; Subject to availability tickets can be collected from Box Office on the day of the screening. You can call Box Office on (0117) 927 5100, and reserve tickets but you must collect them on the day an hour before the start time of the screening.
NB: the advertised times are the actual starting times of each programme for all Wildscreenings.
