Wildscreenings: Wild Thing I Love You: Badgers (PG)
48 mins
Please note: this is an old screening, first shown in Oct 2008
In each episode of Wild Thing I Love You, comedian Bill Bailey leads a team of ecologists on a mission to rescue some of the UK’s most vulnerable wildlife. The team must determine the cause of the problems facing the wildlife and then come up with practical solutions to save them. In this episode they come to the aid of a Staffordshire badger sett at risk from a new housing development. The only practical solution is to build an artificial sett away from the development and relocate the badgers. But that’s easier said than done. The film show that through proactive conservation, victory can be snatched from the jaws of defeat and everyone, even the viewer has the power to get involved.
All Wildscreenings are free; Subject to availability tickets can be collected from Box Office on the day of the screening. You can call Box Office on (0117) 927 5100, and reserve tickets but you must collect them on the day an hour before the start time of the screening.
NB: the advertised times are the actual starting times of each programme for all Wildscreenings.
