Tsang Tsui Shan’'s debut fetaure is an impressive examination of dislocation and alienation. Despite a rocky relationship Lei moves to Beijing for the sake of her boyfriend’s job, where she starts a project interviewing other outsiders about the city about what they miss. One outsider, estranged from his family in Tokyo, takes Lei on a journey of self discovery.
