St Pauls Carnival Fringe Season: Freestyle (12A)

From ex-basketball pro and award- winning British writer/director Kolton Lee, this third feature to emerge from Film London's Microwave scheme (Shifty, Mum & Dad) is a story of young love set in the world of freestyle basketball with an urban soundtrack from Bashy. Ondene (Lucy Konadu), is a beautiful and talented student whose world is turned upside down when she meets street kid Leon (Arinze Kene) who persuades her to enter a freestyle competition against her mother's wishes.

Presented by The New Black.
