LLGFF: Give Me Your Hand (18) S
Dir: Pascal-Alex Vincent
Cast: Alexandre Carrill, Victor Carrill, Anais Demoustier 80 mins, 2008, France, Subtitled
Please note: this was screened in Aug 2010
As a pair of handsome twins travel to a funeral they learn some hard lessons about life and each other in this evocative tale set on a road trip to northern Spain. While one seems to be gay, the other seems to be straight and the simmering tension may reflect their own attraction for each other. The film uses minimal dialogue and has great performances from its young leads.
