Enter The Void (18) S

Gasper Noé's first film since 2002's Irreversible is a trippy, hallucinogenic and ambitious melodrama that, like his previous controversial work, will polarise audiences. Drug dealer Oscar (Nathaniel Brown) and his stripper sister Linda (Paz De La Huerta) live in Tokyo.

The camera assumes Oscar's point of view until, one day, he is shot and killed in a police raid and the perspective switches to that of his spirit flying high above the Tokyo streets, sweeping through walls and down skyscrapers. Faithful to his promise that he would never leave his sister, Oscar's spirit refuses to abandon the world of the living and his past, present and future merge in a haze of sex and drugs. a truly immersive, deeply unsettling cinematic experience.

Please note that this film contains sequences of flashing lights likely to trigger a physical reaction in vulnerable viewers. It also contains extended sequences that may induce motion sickness in some viewers.
