Cinékids: Sammy Going South (PG)

This rippingly good 60s adventure, from Alexander Mackendrick (Whisky Galore!, The Ladykillers) follows 10-year-old orphan Sammy on a dangerous quest to find his only relative who lives at the other end of Africa. Alone, penniless and vulnerable, Sammy gets into adventures while encountering strange characters along the way - including a Syrian peddler, a Greek guide, a rich american tourist and a rugged smuggler hero.
Cinékids is for children between 8 and 12 years old. Fee: £2.00 per child/£3.50 adults (must be accompanied by a child).
