Encounters 11: DepicT! Showcase
Please note: this was screened in Nov 2011
Every year, DepicT! asks filmmakers across the globe to show their stuff in just a minute and a half. Chosen from over 500 entries submitted from 30 countries, the 14 films on this year's shortlist stood out for their originality, imagination and ability to engage. This big screen premiere and Q&A with the filmmakers hosted by Encounters Festival's Rich Warren is followed by a panel on the possibilities and challenges of the ultra-short film format with special guests including Aidan McAteer (DepicT! 2010 Winner - The Gentleman's Guide to Villainy), Hazel Grian (DepicT! Donut, Big Career) now Creative Director at Aardman Digital and Matt Goulding, Director at Rubberductions.
After the screening, ticket holders are invited to the DepicT! Reception c/o Bath Ales in Watershed's Café/bar from 16:30 onwards.
Watch, vote and comment to help determine the winner of the DepicT! Shooting People Audience Award at depict.org.
Fee: £5.00 full / £4.00 concessions.
