Filmic: Michel Legrand in Conversation
Please note: this event took place in March 2012
Legendary multi-Grammy and Oscar®-winning film composer Michel Legrand's career has spanned six decades, writing music for such iconic films as The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, The Thomas Crown Affair and The Go-Between.
We're delighted to welcome Michel Legrand to Watershed to give a fascinating insight into the genesis of his film scores, his 'natural instinct to always write sad music' and how 'critics are bums'. After his talk there will be a screening of The Go-Between at 16:00.
Fee: £5.00 full / £4.00 concs. Get £1.00 off the talk with your The Go-Between cinema ticket. Offer is available only via Box Office - call 0117 927 5100.
Michel Legrand will be in concert at St Georges on Sat 31 March at 19:30.
Please note this event will be recorded.
