Cinékids: Rango + Wild West Workshop (PG)

Pet chameleon Rango (Johnny Depp) is lost in the desert, so Roadkill the armadillo and Beans the iguana take him to the nearest town called Dirt, where only desert animals live. He's soon Sheriff, but when he looks into the town's low water reserves he finds himself in a quite a mess: can he use his cowboy skills against Rattlesnake Jake, find some water and save Dirt? A brilliantly fun homage to spaghetti westerns with some nods to the music of Morricone!

Followed by a free workshop (from 15:00 to 16:30) where 20 lucky children can have a go at creating their own soundtrack to Rango with acclaimed musician, Birdman of Alkijazz Tony Orrell. Instruments will be provided and the workshop will be suitable for those aged 8 - 12 with little or loads of musical experience. Whilst the kids are in the workshop parents are welcome to relax in the Watershed bar. The workshop is free but must be booked in advance over the telephone whilst booking cinema tickets.

Cinékids is for children between 8 and 12 years old. Fee: £2.00 per child/£3.60 adults (must be accompanied by a child). Please call Box Office on 0117 927 5100 for tickets and to request workshop places.

Please note that this event will be recorded.
