Lunchtime Talk: The Playable City Sprint
Please note: this event took place in Jan 1970
Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.
Join us for this free lunchtime talk in Cinema 3 to introduce the results of the Playable City Sprint. This February, the British Council and iShed bring together artists, producers and technologists from across East Asia and the UK to develop playful ideas at the intersection of art, technology, society and culture. This talk will introduce the practitioners, who will discuss their experience of collaboratively developing a new work in a week and demo the interventions they have created.
This week's lunchtime talk is in Cinema 3, so you will not be able to eat your lunch at the talk. However feel free to pop on over to the Studio immediately after to have your lunch in our space and continue the conversation - we provide chairs, tables and free wireless.
The Pervasive Media Studio is now located within the Watershed building. Let us know if you'd like a tour of the new space and we'll be happy to show you around! Send an email to jason@pmstudio.co.uk
