Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival rounds off its Nominated Shorts Season with a showcase of the live-action and animated short films nominated for the 2013 BAFTAs. As a qualifying festival for these prestigious accolades, Encounters brings you the best of British short film talent in partnership with BAFTA and the Independent Cinema Office.
The programme includes winning shorts 'The Swimmer' by esteemed filmmaker Lynne Ramsey (best known for 'We Need to Talk About Kevin', 'Morvern Callar' and 'Ratcatcher') and 'The Making of Longbird' by Will Anderson. After the screening we will be welcoming Muriel d'Ansembourg, BAFTA-nominated director of 'Good Night', for a Q&A.
