The film 'Flight of the Rhino' is the story of the current state of the rhino in SA told through the story of Jed and Bom who work in Imfolozi National Park in KZN, South Africa.

They are monitoring the numbers of endangered black rhino in preparation of a big operation to fly a small population of 12 black rhino to start a new population in a secret location. Imfolozi is the oldest park in Africa. It was where the white rhino was saved from extinction in the 1960's by a pioneering relocation effort spearheaded by Dr Ian Player. It was the most the most successful conservation project ever and saved the white rhino from extinction. Now history is repeating itself with both black and white rhinos.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Jo Scofield and Lawrence Munro from KZN National Park.
