Set amidst the backdrop of the 2008 housing market crisis, Dennis (Andrew Garfield) is a hard-working and honest man who can't save his family home despite his best efforts. Thrown to the streets with alarming precision by reptilian real estate shark Mike (Michael Shannon) and out of work, he is given a unique opportunity: to go and work for the very man who evicted him, doing unto others what has just been done to him.

Garfield is fantastic as a moral man in an immoral world, but this is very much Shannon's show - he gives dimension and depth to a seemingly cold and calculated man. Enthralling, provocative and timely, this adrenaline-charged thriller is a bitter examination of One Percent corruption that will make your blood boil.
