A shocking trail of blood and money. A groundbreaking sting operation. And an attempt to save one of the planet's most magnificent animals from extinction. Veteran investigative journalist Bryan Christy sets out on a unique mission to expose how the ivory trade funds some of Africa’s most notorious militias and terrorist groups. Working with one of the world’s top taxidermists, he conceals a sophisticated GPS tracker inside an incredibly realistic faux ivory tusk and drops it in the heart of ivory poaching country. Christy's emotional journey sees him hunting down poachers, being arrested and thrown in jail and meeting former guerilla leaders who have witnessed unthinkable levels of human atrocity as a direct result of the ivory trade greed.
