Saving the world, one hack at a time!

Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.

Musician, artist and Studio resident Onallee is currently researching and developing a new concept multimedia show. ”FUTURISM 3.O" is a reimagining of a traditional live music performance. Onallee’s research incorporates the development of drones for live performance, 3D graphics and spatial audio to create an immersive environment propelled by a futuristic narrative. In the process of trying to bring her vision to life, it became apparent that this solution driven process was a creative blueprint for tackling a wider range of social issues.

This Lunchtime Talk will share Onallee's working processes, some artefacts in development, and the journey Onallee has been on as she explores the role of creative technology and collaboration in designing live music performances.

The Pervasive Media Studio is located within the Watershed building. Let us know if you'd like a tour and we'll be happy to show you around. Send an email to studio@watershed.co.uk
