Pirates Workshop

Family Craft Workshop - Pirates!

Workshop

Please note: This event took place in June 2017

Join us in the Café/Bar as we get inspired by all-things swashbuckling in this morning crafting session. We’ll be honouring our half term film, Aardman's animated caper Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists by making pirate badges, costumes and maps. With all materials provided and artists Jo Kimber and Alec Stevens on hand to guide you through the activities - all you need to do is turn up, look shipshape and get involved!

This is a free drop-in workshop. Come along anytime between 10.00 - 12.00 for as long or as little as you like. The activities on offer will be most suited to ages 6-11 and their families, although we encourage salty sea dogs of all ages to join our rag tag crew and have a go! (although all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).

You'll be able to catch a screening of Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists after the workshop at 13:00 on the day or another screening during half term week (it screens Sat 27 May - Sun 4 June). Why not make a day of it and set sail around Bristol’s Harbourside either before or after the film. Any ticket to see Pirates! will get you 50p off a ticket for a boat trip along the Harbourside with Bristol Ferry Boats. Likewise, show your Bristol Ferry Boats tickets at our Box Office and you'll get £1 off your cinema ticket to see the film. (Bristol Ferry Boats embark from the bottom of the watery steps just in front of Watershed.)
