Winner of the Wildscreen's Award to Promote Filmmakers from Developing Countries
The wildlife film industry's most prestigious festival has announced its winners. This is your chance to see some of these winning titles.
Deep in the misty, inaccessible mountains of the Himalayas lives a rare and elusive animal, hardly ever seen or studied in the wild – the 'fire cat' or – red panda . Cherub of the Mist unravels the story of these rare and mysterious animals in their forbidding Himalayan habitat.
Made over two years, the film follows two zoo bred pandas, Mini and Sweety, as they become the first ever released into the Singalila National Park. It reveals for the first time the courtship, mating, nest building and rearing of new-born cubs of this highly secretive bamboo eating carnivore.
Please note: the advertised times are the actual starting times of each programme for all Wildscreenings.
