Event

Please note: This event took place in Oct 2017

The Link is Rife Magazine’s free networking event for Bristol’s young creatives, under 24, to meet, be creative, collaborate and meet professionals.

We will be bringing you some top guest speakers with fantastic creative industry knowledge. Their exclusive tips could just be the thing to get you the insight into your future creative career.

The Link is FREE. There will be refreshments. There will be lots of creatives to mingle with. And there will be lots of new people to meet. So whether you are a writer, blogger, photographer, filmmaker, artist, illustrator or just intersted in lots of different things, The Link is perfect for you! Fun, friendly and informal.

Get your name on the list by RSVPing to info@rifemagazine.co.uk

Our speaker for this Mental Health and Wellbeing Special (we’re linking with the wonderful Freedom of Mind Festival for this event) is Kevin Braddock, founder of Torchlight System, a project which uses storytelling for recovery. He has over 20 years' experience in print media as writer and editor, and has worked for GQ, Esquire, The Face and The Guardian in addition to editing, founding and publishing print magazines. Most recently he was Embedded Storyteller at digital product consultancy Made By Many.

At this event Kevin will talk about Torchlight and how mental health and wellbeing has affected his creative journey.

Join us between 18:00-20:00 in the Café/Bar. It’s free. We look forward to seeing you there!
