Volunteer at Cinema Rediscovered Festival 2017

Citizen Kane

About the Festival

Returning for its second edition Cinema Rediscovered is an international archive film event that celebrates great films back on the big screen, giving audiences an opportunity to discover - or indeed re-discover - new digital restorations, film print rarities of early cinema, and contemporary classics

Taking place in Bristol and the surrounding region between Thu 27 – Sun 30 July at Watershed, Curzon Cinema & Arts (Clevedon) The Cube Microplex, we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help assist with the running of festival operations.

Why Should You Apply?

A volunteering position at the festival will gain you a great insight into the running of a film festival event. We are committed to help you develop your skills and confidence concerning the role you undertake with us. You will have the opportunity to meet others with a shared passion for cinema and we will value your commitment by rewarding you with complimentary tickets to festival screenings when you are not on shift. The role also offers exceptional networking opportunities with our own festival curators (and from the wider UK film world), operational staff and marketing teams. Our induction session prior to the festival will ensure you will meet the experienced teams of programmers, critics, marketing and operational staff running the festival and get invaluable insight and experience into how film festivals operate. What’s more you’ll be provided with a highly sought after volunteer T-shirt for use on your shift to make you look the part!
