The Dark World of James M. Cain: Film Noir Revisited
Please note: this is an old season with no further events to see
'Left Coast Crime', a major US crime fiction convention, is coming to Bristol from Thu 16 – Sun 19 March. To celebrate, Watershed presents a programme of films and discussions around the work of hard-boiled fiction writer James M. Cain in the lead-up to the convention. Cain’s novels of greed, forbidden lust and murder make for perfect film noir, and this is a rare opportunity to catch some classic titles inspired by the hard-edged school of crime fiction on the big screen.
