Transcript

I don’t live in Bristol. I live in Bath.

And to be honest I’m not that fond of Bristol.

But perhaps that’s because I feel like I don’t belong here.

Maybe that’s not too surprising as most of my experiences of the city occur on my journey to and from work every day, sitting on the top deck of the park-and-ride bus, observing people going about their lives - passing through places I’ve never been, in transit, not connected to anything.

Perhaps one day I should get off the bus early. Take a different route. Stop somewhere for a while. And then maybe, with my feet on the ground, Bristol will start to become part of me.
