href=\"http:\/\/www.bristolblackhorrorclub.com\">Bristol Black Horror Club<\/a>\u2019s Adam Murray for a special screening of <em>Voodoo In My Heart<\/em> (UK 2020, 5mins) directed by Bristol-based filmmaker Elias Williams (Mandem). <em>Voodoo in My Heart<\/em> tells the story of a young woman\u2019s last moments in human form before turning into a zombie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><em>Voodoo in My Heart<\/em> is a film produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/callingtheshots.co.uk\/\">Calling the Shots<\/a> with support from BBC Arts class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The screening will then be followed by&nbsp;a conversation&nbsp;exploring \u2018Horror&nbsp;Noire\u2019, the Zombie and its Haitian roots with Elias. We&#8217;ll&nbsp;also&nbsp;discuss how&nbsp;horror as a genre can elevate and sharpen the production process, skillset, and career paths for young Black and Brown filmmakers in the UK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event is part of <a href=\"http:\/\/cablesandcameras.com\">Cables &amp; Cameras<\/a>&#8216; INSPIRED takeover of Watershed&#8217;s online and in-person programme, running from 25-27 September 2021.
