Thanks to the pandemic, we\u2019re not the same as we were a year ago, and neither is the film industry. We\u2019re entering an unprecedented era, not just because of COVID-19, but because issues like on-set culture, sustainability, diversity and cast and crew well-being are being questioned like never before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The September Lab panel discussion was all about the things you\u2019ll need to consider when making a short film in 2021 and beyond. What impact has COVID-19 had on safety practices? How do you make sure your set is diverse and that everyone\u2019s well-being is prioritised? What about intimacy on-screen \u2013 how do you ensure your actors feel safe on set while filming intimate content? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
