He has directed episodes of a stunning number of classic TV shows, including The Sopranos, The Wire, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Lost, True Detective, The Boys, and Six Feet Under. He\u2019s received a Directors Guild of America award for outstanding directing of dramatic television, and a number of Emmy nominations to boot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dan presented this national November Lab masterclass, all about how to run a set as a director. On set, the director is the leader; they\u2019re responsible for delivering the film\u2019s creative vision, and they need to work closely with all departments in order to bring it to life.
