The BFI Film Academy Short Film Courses are for 16-19 year olds*, delivered once a year across the UK,\u202f with four courses hosted across the South West region.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(*or age up to 25 if you have an EHCP) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Learn from experts:<\/strong> Gain theory, industry insights and technical skills through workshops and masterclasses. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate:<\/strong> Work in teams to produce professional-standard short filmworks. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Become a BFI Film Academy alumni:<\/strong> Access further training and industry events. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Network:<\/strong> Attend events and meet screen industry professionals.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hands-on experience:<\/strong> Work as part of a crew with mentorship from screen industry professionals. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Understand the industry:<\/strong> Develop a comprehensive understanding of the screen industry, its dynamics and various career pathways. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
