Our Inside Film day is back with a packed line up that will inspire you to take the next step into the film industry and give you the chance to pick up the skills, support, and contacts to make it happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, there&#8217;s loads to get stuck into, from the chance to hear from some of the South West&#8217;s most exciting young filmmakers about how they&#8217;ve made their work to honing up your script skills with a writing workshop led by Zia Holloway!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-75 is-style-wshed-button__pink\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-purple-color has-purple-background-color has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/www.watershed.co.uk\/whatson\/11193\/inside-film\/\">Book your ticket<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets are now available for the day and cost \u00a35 for all of the day&#8217;s events. If the price of a ticket would be a barrier to you being able to take part in the day&#8217;s activities, we are able to offer a number of free tickets, alongside travel bursaries for getting to Watershed. Please email filmacademy@watershed.co.uk for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s what you can look forward to at this year&#8217;s event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to make a 90 second film with DepicT! &#8211; Cinema 3, 13:00-13:45<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.depict.org\/\">DepicT!<\/a>&nbsp;is Watershed\u2019s super-short film competition for films that are 90 seconds or shorter in length. In this workshop, DepicT! winner Ryan Francis will run through what it takes to tell a story, from start to finish, in less time than it takes to brush your teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Short film screening and panel &#8211; Cinema 3, 14:00-15:30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The South West is bursting with filmmaking talent and this screening will be a chance to see just a snapshot of what emerging filmmakers in the region have been creating over the last few years with BFI NETWORK, BBC New Creatives and DepicT!. Get inspired and see what\u2019s being made right on your doorstep plus ask some questions to some of the filmmakers after the screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Get involved with selecting DepicT! Shorts &#8211; Waterside 3, 15:45-16:00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re a film maker, you can find out more about how to enter your mini masterpiece. If you love watching films, you might want to get involved in selecting films for the DepicT! shortlist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Writing workshop, Waterside 3, 16:00-17:00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Screenwriter Zia Holloway will be hosting a workshop on storytelling with a focus on digital storytelling and developing your voice. Zia will be joined by other writers who will offer tips and advice on how to develop your own creative voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keynote, followed by networking &#8211; Waterside 3, 17:00-19:00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wrapping up the day will be a keynote conversation from Frank Film Club who will be introduced by Bristol-based producer Oona Chanfi.
